Kigali Kaftan is a Rwandan-based, Black-owned fashion brand built on the desire to bring the elegance of West African design to East Africa and beyond—where craftsmanship, culture, and confidence meet.

We specialize in bespoke and ready-to-wear pieces for both men and women, known for bold prints, thoughtful tailoring, and wearable style that tells a story.

Inspired by the distinct Kaftan styles they first embraced in Nigeria, founders Jack and Rene grew a deep love for the feeling these garments evoked—ease, pride, and presence.

 

Today, they share that love through each design, reshaping how fashion and heritage connect in Rwanda.
